Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir

Bagdogra at around 76 km is the nearest airport which is connected to major cities like Kolkata, Mumbai, Guwahati, Delhi and Chennai. Kalimpong is a short 3-hour drive from Bagdogra. It is recommended to have prior flight booking to avoid last minute hassles.

Kudremukh, Karnataka

The nearest airport is Mangalore at about 90 km and you can take buses and taxis from here. Dehradun is the nearest airport at around 40 km and it takes normally 2 hours from here to reach Mussoorie. The airport is connected to almost all major cities and you can search and book cheapest flights if plan well in advance.

Coonoor, Tamil Nadu

Serene and small for the most part, the hill retreat of Coonoor remains wrapped in mist all round the year. Home to sprawling tea plantations and colonial style bungalows, Coonoor promises that much needed break from the chaotic city life. Don’t miss the ride on toy train (Nilgiri Mountain Railway) for a lifetime experience.

Coimbatore is the nearest airport at around 70 km and you can take a taxi from here to reach Coonoor. Coimbatore is connected to major cities and there are a number of airlines you can choose from. It’s better to search and compare flights so that you can get the best deals on your next trip.
